The problem

Great youth programs are hard to build. Every single season.

Building from scratch

Every season, someone starts over with a blank schedule and a search bar.

Staff turnover

When a great leader leaves, the program walks out the door with them.

Gear and planning headaches

Games, supplies, and marketing pieced together at the last minute.

You shouldn’t have to reinvent every program every year.

What’s at stake

The difference a system makes.

Without a system

  • Last-minute planning every break
  • Programs that change with every staff hire
  • Flyers with stock photos parents scroll past
  • Empty spots and frustrated families

With Focused Play Co

  • A ready-to-run plan for every camp day
  • Consistent programs across every location
  • Real photos and copy that sell the fun
  • Kids who beg to come back next break

Why it matters: Every program was proven with real kids, real staff, and real budgets before we licensed it. You get a playbook, not an experiment.

Independent accreditation

STEM.org

STEM.org Educational Research is the longest continually operating private STEM credentialing body in the U.S. Its reviewers audit curriculum design, instructor training, safety, and delivery — and the mark must be renewed every year.

Why it matters: The Rec Academy is a STEM.org Accredited Educational Experience and placed in the top 5% worldwide for Best in STEM. That is outside proof you can share with parents, principals, and boards.

Parent reviews of The Recreation Academy

Kids beg to come back. Parents say so.

“I have an uncoordinated six year old who loves running around. I was worried he might not be able to follow all the rules or would get out right away, but that wasn’t the case. The counselors did a great job of making sure everyone was included. His only complaint was that I picked him up… he wanted to stay all day.”

“My son loves after school kickball! It’s a great way to interact with kids from other grades and have fun!”
